Le Centre technique de coopération agricole et rurale ACP-UE (CTA), en collaboration avec l’African Agribusiness Incubators Network (AAIN), Agribusiness TV et les espaces d’innovations tels que Orange Fab Côte d'Ivoire, Wennovation Hub (Nigeria), EcoHub (Togo), Etrilabs (Bénin), Suguba (Mali), CTIC Dakar (Sénégal), lance Pitch AgriHack Afrique de l’Ouest 2017, dans le cadre du Programme AgriHack Talent. Cette édition régionale fait suite à l’organisation réussie de la première édition internationale Pitch AgriHack 2016.
Pitch AgriHack Afrique de l'Ouest 2017 est ouverte aux jeunes pousses (startups) TIC des pays d'Afrique de l'Ouest qui offrent des services au secteur agricole. Les entrepreneurs doivent être propriétaires d'une application ou plateforme e-agricole déjà développée et si possible déjà en service et générant des revenus.

Pitch AgriHack aims at accelerating e-agriculture
entrepreneurship for improved livelihoods and food security. It targets
startups founded by young entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 35 years,
from Africa, Caribbean and Pacific countries. There will be 25 Startups
offering ICT services to the agri-food sector, which will be involved in
capacity building activities and will be pitching eventually. They come
from 16 countries (including Nigeria, Senegal, Uganda, Botswana, St
Kitts and Nevis, Benin, Ghana, Ivory Coast) and have been selected out

edition of Pitch AgriHack, a new component of its AgriHack Talent
Pitch AgriHack 2016 is open for young ICT start-ups from African, Caribbean and Pacific countries, offering services to the agriculture sector. The entrepreneurs should be owners of an already developed e-agriculture/ICT4Ag application or platform.
Pitch AgriHack will:
1- provide a business training boot camp
2- create a platform for pitching service offered to potential investors
2- facilitate grants, investments and additional incubation/acceleration opportunities.
