FSRE Innovation Fund has been financed by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ethiopia. The Fund has been managed by ICCO Cooperation on behalf of AgriProFocus, which in parallel has organized learning events and conducted coaching visits to the innovation projects as part of a learning trajectory.

ICCO Cooperation, which manages the FSRE Fund on behalf of AgriProFocus Ethiopia, announced nine (9) proposals that win the third call under the Innovation window.
As reported previously, 139 concept notes were submitted for this third call, and going through detailed selection process 20 of them were shortlisted. Today, nine (9) full proposals with respective value chains are announced as winners.
The Food Security and Rural Entrepreneurship Fund (FSRE Fund) is financed by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN) in Ethiopia. The Fund has two Windows: Matching Grant Funding (MGF) and Innovation Fund (IF). Under each window two Calls were out and in total 34 Projects from various sectors are being supported.
