Impact Booster is an intensive six-month acceleration program, which enables SME entrepreneurs with an innovative product or service to enter emerging markets. For the last round 275 entrepreneurs from all over the world applied, from which 9 have been selected. Its shareholders are It’s shareholders are ICCO and Woord en Daad. Currently we are starting regional focused seed-funds and acceleration rounds and are shortlisted in the bidding process for the Enable Youth program. Part of the acceleration program is online and the validation phase is in the region. Therefore, we are looking for a program manager who has experience with accelerating start-ups and running an investment fund, to run four rounds of iMPACT Booster in Uganda and a USD 700.000 seed fund.

The Innovation Fund is managed by the Ethiopia-Netherlands Trade Facility for Agricultural Growth (ENTAG). ENTAG falls under the Bilateral Ethiopian Netherlands Effort for Food, Income and Trade Partnership (BENEFIT), which is implemented by Wageningen University & Research from The Netherlands and funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Addis Ababa.
