On Thursday the 9th of February a Niger Business Seminar will be held in the NH Hotel in The Hague. The Business Seminar will focus on the major economic sectors of the country (such as agribusiness, water, energy and logistics) and is targeting businesses, NGOs and knowledge institutes.
During the day, the Nigerien Embassy based in Brussels will present business opportunities in the country and representatives of Dutch companies and organisations already active in Niger will share their experiences. In addition, economic instruments from the Dutch government for Niger will be highlighted and NABC will present the programme for the upcoming mission to Niger that will take place from 6 to 10 March. The presentations will be followed by a lunch, during which there is more time to ask questions and network.

09:00 – 09:15: Opening speeches by Inès Mazou (Economic Attaché of the Nigerien Embassy to the Benelux) and Irene Visser (Managing Director, NABC)
09:15 – 09:45: Business opportunities in Niger (Inès Mazou, Embassy of Niger to the Benelux)
09:45 – 10:15: Dutch Private Sector Development subsidies and programmes (RVO)
10:15 – 10.30: Break
10:30 – 11:00: Business opportunities in the agribusiness sector (Annette van Andel, Agriprofocus)
11:00 – 11:30: Sharing experiences, panel discussion (Various companies and NGOs with experience of working in Niger)
11:30 – 12:00: Trade mission to Niger 6-10 March (Marina Diboma, NABC)
12:00 - 13:00: Lunch
