  Karura Forest, Nairobi

AgriProFocus Kenya has organised a half day tree planting exercise in Karura Forest on Friday 21st April 2017, to commemorate this year's Earth Day scheduled for 22nd April 2017. This year's theme "Environmental and Climate Literacy" - a relevant theme for the sector, because a literate society is able to make informed choices to reduce the impacts of climate change. Climate smart strategies need to be learned and widely disseminated by the stakeholders in this space.

The members of the AgriProFocus network would like to find critical answers to what are the opportunities for entrepreneurs in driving climate smart strategies and how do we support them.  As a commitment made during the last Annual Network Day, AgriProFocus network will contribute to making Karura forest green with indigenous species of trees by undertaking a tree planting exercise. We will also get the chance to share amongst ourselves what we are doing to contribute to more learning on climate change.

We therefore welcome you to join us on this special day and come let's plant a tree as we share how we can work together for collective impact.

Registration fee is KES 250 per adult and KES 150 per child. Please wear comfortable shoes, preferably closed as there event will involve some walking in the forest.

If you have any questions, contact: kenya@agriprofocus.com or call +254 735 145 307.
