AgriProFocus members' response to Dutch policy consultation!

In reaction to the online consultation for the upcoming policy Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation

On February 22, 2018 the newly installed Dutch Rutte-III government opened an online civil consultation to feed into its upcoming policy brief that will guide Dutch Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation (FT&DC) in the coming years.

All (inter)national partners active in this field were warmly invited by Minister Kaag to share their ideas and knowledge. In particular civil society organizations, enterprises and related sector organizations operating in Dutch partner countries, cities and regions with international ambitions and knowledge institutes are invited.

AgriProFocus members have provided their input:

- Agriterra.

- Edukans.

- Heifer Nederland.

- Hivos.

- Hunger Project.

- ICCO Kerk in Actie.

- Oxfam Novib.

- Rabobank.

- SNV.

- Solidaridad.

Another coalition that provided joint input is Netherlands Working Group on Nutrition, many members of AgriProFocus are also part of this coalition. See their input:

Another partner network of ours, MVO-Nederland, also provided input:

We also provided input from the specific knowledge angle through the Food & Business Knowledge Platform

We hope this is inspiring to you! Please read all other inputs on the Ministry site, and follow the conversations on this network page and through the Food & Business Knowledge Platform. There may be a specific consultation on Food and Nutrition Security later in the year, though we don't know yet whether and how that will take place.

If you have a particular interest to be part of further policy work of AgriProFocus as a network, please contact me or Hilke Janssen.
