I am currently working on the sustainability project in the coffee supply chain that is from cultivation to consumption. I look at all inputs and outputs e.g. seedlings-types and how they are treated, land preparation, fertilizer application, up to the stage when coffee is consumed by the customer at home.
I would like to have an interaction with different players, farmers, processors, middle men etc.
This project helps the stakeholders involved to understand their processes sustainability. That is showing them how to maximize benefits, reduce on the costs and be environmentally friendly.
This is for all the coffee stakeholders in Uganda. The report will be published under Life Cycle Initiative-UN Environment.
