GFAR organized the event in collaboration with the Information Training and Outreach Centre for Africa (ITOCA), the Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition (GODAN) initiative and the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA).

On November 6th, a working group of learning experts have organised a small meet-up to discuss different kind of learning challenges.
So what is this LEARNING meet-up about? The objective of this work session is to talk about best practices of internal learning processes within our own organisations. In a small group of learning experts, we will work together on (internal) learning cases, challenges and find concrete examples for our daily practices.
We seek answers to the following questions: What does learning mean in our organisations? What do we want to achieve with it? When do we see ourselves as a learning-driven organisation and what is the role of a M&E expert in this process? And how do we exchange experiences about this so we really can start using interesting tools and examples in our own work/team?
