Consultant - Gender in Value Chains

Region of lyon, France

About Me

I am a gender consultant and coach with more than 20 years experience in gender mainstreaming in different sectors including education, governance, WASH and for the past 5 years, gender and value chains. I have a background in philosophy and development studies/project management. I had the opportunity to live and work in very different cultural settings: Canada, West and Eastern Africa, the Balkans and Cambodia. I am now based in France, in the region of Lyon.

I love developing tailor-made tools, approaches and methodologies to make gender issues part of the daily work of the organizations I support. I have also worked on documenting best practices on gender and value chains through cases studies and video materials and helped organizations in strategic planning. I have trained teams from INGOS, research centers, civil society organizations, multilateral organizations and private sector companies. I am passionate about people. To ensure a people-centered support, I am learning more about coaching with the UK based International Institute of Leadership and Management.

My ambition is to accompany my clients and their organizations on their journey towards more equitable relations in their workplace. I support organizations ensuring women's equal access to development opportunities and benefits and improved autonomy and voice. I believe in unleashing people's potential through coaching, building their self-confidence, motivation and autonomy. This allows them to find their owns solutions and become leaders of change in their organizations and communities.
