At VHL University of Applied Sciences we have welcomed the new students for the two professional Master programmes; Management of Development and Agricultural Production Chain Management. This year it is the 44th time we receive international students for out courses. Coming from Ethiopia, Uganda, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Bhutan, Japan, Nigeria, Somalia, Tanzania, Rwanda, Myanmar, Philipines, Vietnam, and Kenya it is definitely going to be an inspiring, multi-cultural year full of new experiences and knowledge!
Van Hall Larenstein, Egerton University and Agrikom Training and Consultancies organise a Refresher Course for Master alumni of Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, about “Strengthening the role of institutions in the commercialization of agricultural value chains in Africa through capacity building of VHL alumni”. In the Refresher course 20 participants from 8 African countries (Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana, Zambia and Zimbabwe) are working on a Theory of change for transforming the agricultural sector. It is taking place from 3-14 July 2017 at Egerton in Nakuru/Njoro, Kenya.
