Agribusiness a “COOL” profession!
As discovered by youths in the SADC region during the CCARDESA Youth in Agriculture summit for Southern Africa held in Durban, South Africa

Agribusiness Incubation Trust Ltd (AgBIT) & The Centre for Coordination of Agricultural Research and Development for Southern Africa (CCARDESA) sponsored 30 Zambian youth to attend the Youth in Agriculture Summit for Southern Africa in Durban.

The Centre for Coordination of Agricultural Research and Development in Southern Africa (CCARDESA), is organising the Youth in Agriculture Summit and Agribusiness Initiatives for Southern Africa. The event will take place at the Olive Convention Centre in Durban, South Africa from 3 to 6 August 2015. The summit will engage the youth in the SADC region on youth involvement in agriculture and will develop a 10 year strategic framework for agribusiness support targeting the youth in the SADC region. The summit is expected to, among other things come up with strategies and approaches to strengthen funding options for implementation of youth ideas for starting agribusiness initiatives in Southern Africa. More than 500 participants from various stakeholders, and youth in the 15 SADC countries and beyond are expected to attend the event.
