I am Blaise Pascal NIYIBIZI, CEO&Co-founder of Umurage Francoise Flower Garden in Muhoza sector, located in Musanze District near the National police college at the road heading to Musanze Agro-market. I provide different horticultural services to different clients! These services include growing flowers, Raising seedlings and producing root stocks for other people who want to grow these flowers in their gardens.

On the 4th November 2015, a Technology Transfer Workshop took place at the University of Rwanda, the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (UR-CAVM, Busogo Campus). The main objectives of the workshop were as follows:
· To increase through specialized training the capacity and competence of corresponding between CAVM and farmers organizations in selected issues of valorization and TT.
· To promote exchange of experiences and creation of linkages among CAVM and farmers forward to networking their activities in the CAVM technology transfer.
· Identify the services delivered by CAVM for helping the farmers to contact CAVM staffs in case they need some help.
· Identify the improved capacity development and technical assistance given by CAVM needed to achieve integrated agriculture sustainable development.

‘’Promoting Youth Entrepreneurship Development through Agribusiness’’
On 28th October 2015, was held the first Youth in Agribusiness Festival at the University of Rwanda, the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (UR-CAVM, Rubirizi Campus). The festival was jointly organized by UR-CAVM, AgriProFocus Rwanda and Rural Development Initiative (RDI) in partnership with the Youth Engagement in Agriculture Network (YEAN), Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (CYE) and Hollanda Fair Foods (Winnaz).
The purpose of this event was to gather young people together with some development partners so that they share information on the existing opportunities in agribusiness and develop more networks that can help them to be more involved in Agribusiness.

The Agri-Sector Development Facility (ASDF) is a flexible funding mechanism to boost innovation in the agricultural sector of Rwanda funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kigali.
