Jobs at Impact Booster: Expert Profiles - Positions for staffing

Impact Booster is an intensive six-month acceleration program, which enables SME entrepreneurs with an innovative product or service to enter emerging markets. Its shareholders are ICCO and Woord en Daad. iMPACT Booster is shortlisted to prepare a full proposal for the Enable Youth Challenge Fund. This is a 2 million fund to run 5 acceleration rounds in Uganda. The most important requirement for final selection of the proposals is the quality and expertise of the team. To create a solid team the following experts are required.

Are you a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) operating in or around Addis Ababa? Are you on the way to become a thriving business but you still struggle how to find your way to the top? Than is Cordaid/R&D’s Resilient Business Development Support (RBDS) the right training program for you!

We will support your company to grow and become investment ready in our 6 months program. It consists of trainings, mentorships and (personal and group) coaching.And at the end of the program you will have an investment ready business plan.

VECO East Africa is a regional programme of Vredeseilanden, a Belgian International NGO. VECO East

Africa promotes the business case for chain actors who include buyers, traders, processors,

A First Agri BDS Workshop took place succesfully

On August 28th 2015, was held a first Agri BDS Workshop at Ninzi Hill Hotel. This workshop was jointly organized by SPARK and AgriProFocus Rwanda. The purpose of this one day workshop was to bring together Rwandan Agri-BDS providers, for a possibility of setting-up a network of Agri-BDS providers. 

This workshop was attended by a total of 49 participants, drawn from various consultancy companies, agribusiness companies, NGOs, government institutions, with proven experience in providing technical support to the Agribusiness projects / ideas to the Rwandan farmers’ associations, NGOs / government agri-projects, etc.

The Opening Session facilitated by Anatole Majyambere, Assistant Coordinator at AgriProFocus Rwanda commenced with introductory note, which were followed by the Opening remarks by Desire MUSHUMBA, Program Manager at SPARK. Consultancy Opportunity: Mapping Agri-BDS and other cooperative supporters in Rwanda

AgriProFocus joins Dutch economic mission to Rwanda and DR Congo

From November 10 till November 13, Lilianne Ploumen, Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation will go on an economic mission to Kinshasa, DR Congo (10-11) and Kigali, Rwanda (12-13). The mission will focus on the following sectors: agri-business; renewable energy; infrastructure, maritime and port development. 

Hedwig Bruggeman, managing director of AgriProFocus, will be one of the participants in this mission. She is interested in finding out how the AgriProFocus network can accelerate its support for joint action and learning between Dutch and local SME’s in Agri&Food value chains. In DR Congo she will look into the option of extending the Agri-ProFocus Bukavu activities towards other parts of DR Congo.
