CALL FOR APPLICANTS - FoodTrack By Maersk Edition 2

We are looking for startup teams working on technologies and new business models that reduce food loss in the earlier stages of the food value chain—from harvest to distribution. Technologies we’re particularly interested in are food preservation, logistics and supply chain optimization, sensing Internet of Things (IoT) and data monitoring, storage and packaging solutions, as well as farm management systems. What is not a key topic for us are topics such as innovative food, breeding and genetics, and B2C solutions.

We invite you to join FoodTrack by Maersk, an intensive one-month venture program dedicated to solving one of the world’s most acute challenges—eliminating food loss.

Deadline: September 30, 2018. More info, click here

Gender and food loss in sustainable food value chains. A guiding note.

I am very happy to see that FAO has recently announced, that the publication “Gender and food loss in sustainable food value chains” has been translated and is now also available in French and Spanish. Active packaging: extra protection

Heising: “Active packaging protects food by reducing negative factors. For example, oxygen in the air affects the quality of many products. You can embed oxygen scavengers into the packaging material. These scavengers ensure the oxygen level inside th
