What can geo-information do for you?

I had no idea what the possibilities of geo-data and spatial information were. Well, yesterday I learned; they are endless! And our newest AgriProFocus member in The Netherlands, ITC, can tell us all about it.

We (Roel, Rolf and myself) visited the vibrant faculty of the University of Twente on the day around 120 new students arrived, coming from 70 different countries. Our main question was: ‘What can ITC, as a knowledge institute, bring to the members of the AgriProFocus network and what would you like to get out of it?’

Become a student

Tom Loran, Course Director at ITC explains us: “ITC is recognized for its achievements in teaching, research and capacity development in the field of geo-information and earth observation. Students are trained to be professionals, capable of acquiring knowledge and translating this into practical applications for solving problems aroud food security, water or soils.” If you are interested in knowing mo
