Nutrition, youth and mental health

World mental health day recognized with an event about youth and mental health in Addis Ababa

"Globally, 65% of people suffering from mental health challenges are youth," explained Mogus Mogussie, founder of AHA Psychological Services in Addis Ababa.  "There are many factors that can trigger mental health challenges. W/ro Martha Tesfaye explained, "Poor maternal and childhood nutrition can increase the likelihood of troubles with mental health."

"Its ok not to be ok," was one of the messages of the celebration of World Mental Health Day at Ras Amba Hotel in Addis Abab
