It’s a busy week for the SEAD Project! Three full-week activities are taking place right now –and since Wednesday is the half-way mark, we thought it was a good idea to let you in on the what is happening.
During this week, SEAD project is mostly running its activities in Musanze district. There in Musanze, SEAD Project is partnering with staff from UR/ CAVM to develop a new Bachelor of Agri-Business –the first of five curricula that the will be reviewed with support of SEAD. They are joined by members of the private sector, RSB and MINAGRI. So far, the week has been filled with interesting and intense fruitful discussions, and we look forward to continuing the hard work!
Also in Musanze District, SEAD is conducting multiple days of Training of Trainers (ToT) on feed production, silage making and feed composition. which took place at Nyagatare Campus.
Its a big pleasure to have this festival as students and this inspires us to be innovators and help engaging youth in agribusinesses, without depending on white color job.
The purpose of this event was to gather young people together with some development partners so that they share information on the existing opportunities in agribusiness and develop more networks that can help them to be more involved in Agribusiness.

I am Blaise Pascal NIYIBIZI, CEO&Co-founder of Umurage Francoise Flower Garden in Muhoza sector, located in Musanze District near the National police college at the road heading to Musanze Agro-market. I provide different horticultural services to different clients!
